Mio Yamagishi

Mio is excitable, argumentative and intensely devoted to Yuki. She shares the fan club's tendency to regard other girls as potential threats rather than simply classmates who happen to know him.

She can also be competitive with her fellow club members. Her devotion does not prevent petty arguments within the group, particularly when its members disagree about seniority, plans or their respective claims to Yuki's attention.

Like the others, Mio is considerably less confident when confronted by people who refuse to participate in the fan club's social games. Saki Hanajima's calm, intimidating manner is especially effective at unsettling her.

Mio has no supernatural abilities. Her role is grounded entirely in ordinary school life and the activities of the Prince Yuki Fan Club.

She participates in the group's organized attempts to investigate or inconvenience girls considered too close to Yuki. Her effectiveness is limited by the club's exaggerated assumptions and by the loyalty of Tooru's friends.

Mio appears primarily in the recurring Prince Yuki Fan Club material, which contrasts Yuki's extraordinary popularity with his desire to be treated as an ordinary student.

She joins the club's efforts against Tooru Honda and participates in its encounter with the Hanajima family. These appearances generally place Mio within the group's collective behavior rather than giving her an independent storyline.

Yuki Souma is the object of Mio's admiration and the reason she participates in the Prince Yuki Fan Club.

Motoko Minagawa is the club president Mio follows during its schemes and school activities.

Minami Kinoshita is a fellow club member with whom Mio sometimes argues despite their shared devotion to Yuki.

Tooru Honda is regarded as a threat because of her closeness to Yuki.

Saki Hanajima frightens Mio and the other club members when they attempt to investigate her.
