Big Pikas

Big Pikas usually speaks calmly and cheerfully, frequently laughing and ending his speech with "Pika." His lighthearted delivery contrasts with his complete indifference toward the deaths required by his plans.

He treats followers as resources when necessary. The possibility of sacrificing large numbers of believers does not deter him if doing so creates a weapon capable of defeating the Hateful Four.

Despite his age and authority, Pikas recognizes that he is physically frailer than he once was. He therefore relies heavily on the Order's accumulated technology and on other people to carry out direct combat.

Big Pikas has lived for more than four millennia, giving him extraordinary longevity even by the standards of the Lighthead Order's ancient leadership.

He carries a Light Staff that functions as a catalyst for advanced light-based processes. Using the staff, Light Cores and sacrificial material, he can perform the procedure used to create a Light-Core Human.

Pikas also possesses artifacts and knowledge associated with Zolar. The full inventory available to him is unknown, but it gives the Lighthead Order access to technology far beyond what its religious appearance initially suggests.

Pikas enters the story when the Photosfere and Lighthead Order cooperate against the Hateful Four despite continuing to distrust one another. He concludes that ordinary forces are insufficient and prepares a new weapon.

A senior follower volunteers to become the source body for the experiment. Pikas transforms that follower into Magma Ride-On, a Light-Core Human built to hunt Sanko, Avakian, Shimada and Damemaru.

Pikas's involvement moves the Lighthead Order from a bizarre religious obstacle into a major organized enemy. His technology also allows Magma's Light-Core existence to be restored after apparent destruction, extending the threat beyond a single battle.

Magma Ride-On is the Lighthead follower whom Big Pikas transforms into a Light-Core Human and sends after the Hateful Four.

Zaha Sanko, Avakian, Shimada Death and Hajime Damemaru are the four targets Pikas seeks to eliminate.

Hikari no Omo belongs to the religious organization founded by Pikas.
