Hikari no Omo

Hikari no Omo is greedy, crude and willing to betray the larger purpose of his organization for personal gain. Capturing Sanko immediately turns into an opportunity to claim the rumored wish for himself.

He also treats subordinates dismissively and assumes that his position gives him the right to handle Sanko without assistance. His confidence remains high even after ordinary weapons prove ineffective against Sanko's Dark body.

Hikari no Omo uses the resources of the Lighthead Order rather than displaying a clearly defined personal supernatural power.

When ceremonial knives cannot cut Sanko, he turns to Light Concentrating Acid, a substance described as capable of dissolving virtually any material once its components are mixed. The acid is powerful enough to destroy Sanko's Dark flesh.

As temple leader, Hikari also commands Lighthead worshippers and has access to the machinery and rituals used throughout the facility.

Hikari no Omo takes custody of Sanko after the Lighthead Order captures him. Rather than immediately following a larger organizational plan, he attempts to remove Sanko's bones personally.

The Light Concentrating Acid succeeds in dissolving Sanko's arm but also destroys the restraint holding him. Sanko responds by kicking Hikari into a wall, killing him almost immediately.

Elsewhere in the temple, Shimada Death and Avakian infiltrate the Lighthead ceremonies and discover the source of the strange Light Soup distributed to worshippers.

Zaha Sanko is Hikari no Omo's prisoner and the person whose bones he attempts to claim.

Avakian infiltrates Hikari's temple while trying to rescue Sanko.

Shimada Death accompanies Avakian through the temple and investigates the Lighthead rituals.
