At Eden, Anya Forger prepares for midterms while concealing that the new moon will suppress her telepathy. Tutoring from Yuri Briar improves her attitude toward studying, though not enough to make her a top student.

Fearing another Tonitrus Bolt, Loid Forger infiltrates Eden’s secure records area and encounters an inept rival spy called Daybreak. Loid preserves Damian’s examination results and discovers that Anya passed without cheating. A classmate’s misguided revenge scheme then causes embarrassment at school, while WISE agent Fiona Frost approaches Loid with a new assignment involving a valuable intelligence dossier.
