Synopsis
The International Gourmet Organization assigns Toriko to accompany biotope director Ayame into the Hungry Triangle, where they seek a hidden menu associated with legendary Gourmet Hunter Acacia. Their expedition leads to Acacia’s Kitchen, a remote island filled with rare ingredients, dangerous creatures, ancient ruins and an enormous refrigerated complex.
Toriko’s fellow Heavenly Kings Coco, Sunny and Zebra, together with chef Komatsu, become involved when the former Gourmet Corps adviser Girim pursues the same secret. The standalone film is positioned between the anime’s Golden Wheat and Four-Beast storylines, allowing the four Heavenly Kings and several major Gourmet Corps figures to participate without altering the principal manga narrative.
