Synopsis
In a future where robot maids called OrderMaids are common household appliances, ten-year-old Bondo Taira persuades his mother to buy one of his own. Instead of the graceful servant he imagined, the family receives Roboco, an eccentric, immensely powerful robot whose poor domestic skills and conspicuously muscular knees continually disrupt Bondo’s everyday life.
The season adapts early stories from Shūhei Miyazaki’s comedy manga, following Bondo, Roboco, and their friends through schoolyard disputes, supernatural encounters, social-media mishaps, and absurd confrontations with figures from Roboco’s past. Its rapid three-minute storytelling, self-aware humor, and frequent parodies of manga published in Weekly Shōnen Jump distinguish it from conventional domestic-robot comedies.
