Yang

Yang is aggressive and direct, showing no hesitation when attacking Soul Society’s convoy or Kusaka’s pursuers. She seldom acts separately from Yin and places obedience to Kusaka above her own safety.

The twins display little sympathy for their victims. Yang continues fighting even when heavily injured and remains loyal until Kusaka turns his power against them.

Yang stores her Zanpakutō in the mask fragment behind her head. Its sealed state resembles a narrow jian with a white hilt and long red tassel. When drawn, fire extends around the short blade, creating a much larger cutting weapon.

She manipulates the flames for close combat and ranged blasts. Her largest fire attack can cover a broad area, although Yasutora Sado repels it with El Directo. She also combines fire with Yin’s lightning for coordinated strikes.

The Ōin later changes Yang into an enormous Hollow. Within its artificial dimension, she can regenerate even after Suì-Fēng completes Nigeki Kessatsu.

Yang helps assault the royal convoy carrying the Ōin. She confronts Tōshirō Hitsugaya and retreats into the wreckage, drawing him toward Sōjirō Kusaka.

The sisters later attack Ichigo Kurosaki in the Human World and badly injure him through their combined elemental techniques. They return during Kusaka’s second assault and are left to fight Ichigo’s allies.

Kusaka freezes the wounded sisters after they report their defeat. They reappear as giant Hollows sustained by the Ōin, but die when Kusaka’s defeat destroys the dimension and ends its regenerative effects.

Yin is Yang’s twin and combat partner. Yang’s fire-based sword complements Yin’s lightning whip.

Sōjirō Kusaka commands both sisters and uses them to steal the Ōin, eliminate witnesses, and delay his pursuers.

Tōshirō Hitsugaya, Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryū Ishida, and Yasutora Sado oppose Yang during the film. Suì-Fēng battles her transformed Hollow body.
