Ururu Tsumugiya

Ururu is shy, polite and highly sensitive to criticism. She apologizes quickly when she believes she has made a mistake and can be reduced to tears by minor failures. She usually obeys instructions without complaint, even when Jinta—who is younger than she is—orders her around or teases her.

When she senses a dangerous spiritual presence, her demeanor becomes emotionless and direct. She classifies anyone causing harm as an enemy to be eliminated, acting more like a defensive system than the hesitant shop assistant seen in ordinary situations.

After the series' time skip, Ururu appears calmer and more self-assured. Her kindness remains intact, but she displays greater emotional control and no longer seems quite as overwhelmed by routine interaction.

Ururu possesses enhanced strength, speed, endurance and spiritual perception. Kisuke Urahara describes her combat capability as operating at an anti-Soul Reaper level, and her kicks can injure an Arrancar despite her small frame.

Slaughter Mode activates in response to hostile spiritual energy or serious injury. In this state, Ururu suppresses hesitation and attacks with efficient, relentless movements. The response is powerful but can expose her to danger because it prioritizes eliminating the threat over self-preservation.

Her primary weapon is the Senren Bakusatsu Taihō, a heavy multi-barreled shoulder cannon capable of firing concentrated spiritual projectiles. She can carry and operate the weapon despite its size, demonstrating the artificial strength built into her body.

Ururu assists with Ichigo Kurosaki's initial training beneath the Urahara Shop. She is assigned to fight his emerging Hollow form during the Shattered Shaft exercise, helping force him to regain Soul Reaper power before the transformation becomes permanent.

She later joins the defense of Karakura Town and participates in Don Kan'onji's Karakura Superheroes. During the Arrancar invasion, she attacks Yylfordt Granz after sensing his hostile pressure and briefly overwhelms him before his released form gravely injures her.

Ururu survives through treatment from Tessai Tsukabishi and continues working at the shop. Her presence provides an early indication that Urahara's seemingly ordinary employees possess deliberately concealed origins and capabilities.

Kisuke Urahara is Ururu's creator, employer and guardian. She addresses him respectfully, follows his training instructions and becomes distressed whenever she believes she has failed him.

Jinta Hanakari is her fellow Modified Soul and shop partner. He frequently bosses her around despite being three years younger, but they function as a dependable team during emergencies.

Tessai Tsukabishi supervises Ururu at the shop and provides both discipline and protection. He treats her life-threatening injuries after her battle with Yylfordt.

Ichigo Kurosaki is one of Ururu's training partners, and her attacks help him recover his Soul Reaper abilities. Yylfordt Granz is the Arrancar whose spiritual pressure activates her combat response during the invasion of Karakura Town.
