Personality
Personality
Timothy is cheeky, rebellious and remarkably confident for his age. He enjoys the reputation of Phantom Thief G and takes pride in outsmarting adults, although the money he steals is intended to help the orphanage rather than enrich himself.
Beneath the bravado, he is intensely protective of the children and adults who gave him a home. Threats to the orphanage expose how much of his criminal persona is built around a child's attempt to solve financial problems he cannot otherwise control.
He initially resists the idea of becoming an Exorcist. Once he understands that his presence can attract danger to the orphanage, however, protecting the people there becomes more important than remaining with them.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Timothy's parasitic-type Innocence is Divine Possession. Its manifestation is connected to the jewel-like sphere embedded in his forehead and to a spiritual entity called Tsukikami.
Divine Possession allows Timothy's consciousness to enter and control another body. He can use the physical properties of the possessed target, making the ability exceptionally flexible.
The power is especially unusual against Akuma because Timothy can possess their bodies rather than simply attacking them from outside. Tsukikami acts as an intermediary and guide in the use of the Innocence.
Story Role
Story Role
Timothy lives at Hearst Orphanage in Paris and operates secretly as Phantom Thief G. His thefts eventually attract attention, while supernatural incidents surrounding his possession ability bring the Black Order into the case.
Allen Walker, Howard Link and other Order personnel become involved when Akuma attack the orphanage. Timothy's Innocence fully awakens during the crisis.
Afterward, he accepts that remaining at the orphanage could continue endangering the people he wants to protect and joins the Black Order. He becomes an apprentice of General Klaud Nine.
Relationships
Relationships
Emilia Galmar is Timothy's teacher and one of the adults responsible for him at the orphanage. Their constant arguments conceal genuine affection and concern.
Klaud Nine becomes Timothy's General after he joins the Black Order.
Tsukikami is the spiritual manifestation associated with Timothy's Innocence and accompanies him when he uses Divine Possession.
Allen Walker helps Timothy during the attack on the orphanage and understands his reluctance to leave the people he considers family.
Komui Lee receives Timothy's audacious demand that the Black Order pay for the property damage associated with his activities as Phantom Thief G.
