Tatsuhisa Kamijou

Luke is confident, competitive, energetic, and prone to grandiose claims. He genuinely believes he has what it takes to become the King of Duels and rarely allows embarrassment or failure to reduce his enthusiasm for long.

Unlike Yuga, who is fascinated by invention and experimentation, Luke is primarily interested in winning. He takes great pride in his dueling record and is quick to challenge anyone who appears capable of threatening his claim to being the strongest student.

His boastfulness coexists with genuine loyalty. Luke values his friends and repeatedly fights alongside them when Rush Duels or Goha City are threatened.

Luke is one of the strongest Rush Duelists among the students at Goha 7th Elementary. His Dragon deck favors aggressive monsters capable of inflicting large amounts of damage quickly.

Multistrike Dragon Dragias is his signature monster. Its ability to attack a second time after destroying an opponent's monster makes it particularly suited to Luke's preference for overwhelming offense.

Luke also exhibits a strange phenomenon commonly associated with his self-proclaimed "Devil" ability: machines around him can suddenly malfunction or stop operating. He does not initially understand the mechanism behind this effect but readily incorporates it into his exaggerated self-image.

Luke learns about rumors concerning the King of Duels and investigates how he might claim the title. This leads him to Yuga and the experimental rules that become Rush Duels.

He becomes one of the earliest and most enthusiastic adopters of Rush Dueling, though his motivation differs from Yuga's. Where Yuga wants everyone to enjoy greater freedom, Luke sees the new format as another road toward becoming the greatest duelist.

Luke subsequently joins Yuga, Romin and Gakuto in the conflicts surrounding Goha Enterprises and the spread of Rush Duels. His exceptional win record frequently makes him one of the group's most dependable competitors.

Yuuga Oudou is Luke's close friend and frequent rival. Luke respects Yuuga Oudou's creativity while remaining determined to prove that he is the superior duelist.

Romin Kirishima and Gakuto Sougetsu form the rest of Luke's regular friendship group and repeatedly accompany him during the conflicts surrounding Rush Duels.

Haruka Kamijou, better known as Tiger, is Luke's older sister. Despite Luke's confidence around almost everyone else, Haruka Kamijou can intimidate him with ease and repeatedly challenges his inflated sense of superiority.
