Snake

Snake is ruthless, violent, persistent, and entirely willing to use firearms during robberies. Unlike Kaitou Kid, whose thefts are built around spectacle and avoiding unnecessary harm, Snake treats valuable jewels as objectives worth killing for.

He follows the orders of his organization while commanding lower-ranking criminals during individual operations. Failure does not discourage him from returning for another target.

Snake can also be overconfident. He frequently assumes that weapons and numbers will give his group an advantage over Kid, only to be defeated by misdirection and stage magic.

Snake is an experienced armed criminal with proficiency in firearms, jewel theft, intimidation, and coordinating groups of accomplices.

He uses disguises and planned diversions when necessary. His organization sometimes deploys a false Kaitou Kid or exploits genuine Kid heists to draw police attention away from its own operations.

Snake lacks supernatural powers, relying instead on guns, criminal planning, and information about valuable gemstones.

Snake is one of the principal recurring antagonists of Magic Kaito. His organization searches for Pandora and targets large jewels in the hope of finding it.

Snake was involved in the killing of Toichi Kuroba during a performance years before Kaito began pursuing the organization. Learning of that connection gives Kaito a personal reason to investigate Snake and the people commanding him.

In Conan, Kid, and the Crystal Mother, Snake targets Queen Selizabeth's enormous topaz and plans to let Kid locate the jewel before taking it from him.

The OVA identifies Snake to Conan as an internationally wanted jewel thief known as Jackal, although that name is specific to the adaptation and is not established as his manga codename.

Kaito Kuroba repeatedly clashes with Snake while operating as Kaitou Kid. Kaito's pursuit of Snake is connected to Snake's role in Toichi's death and the search for Pandora.

Toichi Kuroba was targeted by Snake's organization years before Kaito inherited the Kaitou Kid role.
