Phillip Maximillion Ingram

Phillip is curious, brave, impulsive, and strongly attached to his mother. His royal upbringing does not prevent him from taking risks when he believes something important to her is threatened.

He is fascinated by Kaitou Kid's abilities and displays considerably more initiative than the adults protecting him expect. His courage can become recklessness, particularly when he enters dangerous situations without understanding the full threat.

Phillip has no supernatural abilities or specialized combat training established in the OVA.

He is intelligent and observant enough to recognize unusual details surrounding Kid's tricks, and his determination allows him to pursue the thief despite his young age.

His royal status also gives him detailed familiarity with the Crystal Mother and its importance to his family.

Phillip accompanies Selizabeth aboard the Royal Express when Kaitou Kid announces his intention to steal the Crystal Mother, Europe's largest topaz.

He becomes increasingly involved after Kid locates the real jewel and the competing thieves make their move.

Phillip follows Kid onto the train roof in an attempt to recover the Crystal Mother for his mother. Snake then uses the prince as leverage against Kid, forcing Kid to surrender the jewel temporarily.

Kid later persuades Phillip to confront his mother's feelings rather than treating the jewel purely as a royal obligation. The episode ends with Phillip and Selizabeth reaffirming their affection for each other.

Selizabeth is Phillip's mother and the reigning queen of Ingram. Phillip's desire to protect Selizabeth's treasured jewel drives his actions aboard the train.

Kaito Kuroba encounters Phillip while operating as Kaitou Kid. Phillip follows him onto the train roof and becomes directly involved in the struggle for the Crystal Mother.

Snake threatens Phillip in order to force Kid to hand over the jewel.

Conan Edogawa is aboard the Royal Express and independently investigates the criminals targeting Phillip's family.
