Shikii Mukueda

Mukueda is characterized in the supplementary material by flawed ideals, which bring him into conflict with people connected to Hakoniwa's Election Management Committee.

As an older teacher, he takes a detached view of the students' approaching graduation. When the faculty gathers near the Student Council office, he considers the adults' role essentially finished and believes the remaining decisions belong to the children themselves.

His limited manga appearances emphasize his role as an educator rather than providing an extensive independent personality study.

His role is primarily educational. He teaches ethics and holds responsibility for Hakoniwa's senior Class 13, placing him in charge of students who belong to the academy's most unusual academic classification.

Messhi Kuguhara is a fellow Hakoniwa teacher whom Mukueda waits for near the Student Council office.

Hakama Shiranui is Hakoniwa Academy's chairman and joins Mukueda and the other faculty members during Medaka's final school challenge.
