Shikiri Mukueda

Shikiri is bold enough to challenge one of the most formidable people associated with Hakoniwa Academy immediately after enrolling. He approaches Medaka alongside two other new Class -13 students rather than being intimidated by her reputation.

His relief upon seeing her reflects his reason for attending Hakoniwa: he and his companions came specifically because they wanted an opportunity to fight her.

Little else is established about Shikiri's individual temperament.

Shikiri possesses a Minus named Sly Wing. The manga identifies the ability but does not explain its mechanics, applications or limitations.

Because Shikiri's confrontation with Medaka ends almost immediately, he receives no extended battle in which Sly Wing can be demonstrated.

His classification as a Minus places him among students defined by negative abnormalities rather than the Abnormals associated with the original Class 13.

Shikiri appears at Hakoniwa's entrance ceremony after enrolling as a new freshman in Class -13. When Medaka is presented to the incoming students, he approaches her alongside two other Minuses.

The three explain that fighting Medaka is why they entered Hakoniwa Academy and attack her together.

Medaka defeats all three effortlessly, establishing that even after leaving the Student Council and moving into a new role at Hakoniwa, she remains far beyond the new generation of problem students challenging her.

Shikii Mukueda is Shikiri's relative and a member of Hakoniwa Academy's faculty.

Medaka Kurokami is the person Shikiri specifically enters Hakoniwa hoping to fight. His first attempt to challenge Medaka ends in immediate defeat.

Gorgeous Hirado and Rettouroppu Gotou are fellow Class -13 freshmen who approach and attack Medaka alongside Shikiri.
