Samo Han Wong

Sammo is emotional, affectionate and easily moved to tears. He lacks Bak Chang's prideful temperament and often reacts openly to situations that other senior staff approach more formally.

His emotional nature does not undermine his competence. Sammo is a longstanding senior member of the Asian Branch and remains involved in its administration during dangerous situations.

Sammo is not an Exorcist and has no known Innocence. His skills are administrative and organizational, reflecting his position as assistant chief of one of the Black Order's major branches.

He helps supervise personnel and supports Bak Chang in running the Asian Branch. No specialized combat ability is established for him.

Sammo appears when Allen Walker recuperates at the Asian Branch after his confrontation with Tyki Mikk. He is part of the branch staff overseeing Allen's stay while Allen attempts to recover his lost Innocence.

The Asian Branch later becomes the site of important developments involving the Black Order's concealed experiments and the Third Exorcist project. Sammo remains part of the institution while these older secrets return to affect its personnel.

Bak Chang is Sammo's superior and the branch chief with whom he works most closely. Sammo acts as his principal administrative assistant.

Allen Walker stays at Sammo's branch while recovering and retraining after his encounter with Tyki.

Fou serves as the supernatural guardian of the Asian Branch and protects the same institution Sammo helps administer.
