Rika

Rika is sociable, energetic and enthusiastic about parties, sharing the exaggeratedly upbeat disposition of Makoto Hanzawa's other housemates. The group communicates and celebrates with an intensity that frequently leaves Hanzawa bewildered.

She approaches Beika's constant danger with the same carefree attitude as her friends. Rather than becoming consumed by anxiety over the city's extraordinary crime rate, Rika focuses on enjoying herself while she can.

Rika has no established combat abilities or supernatural powers. Her role is civilian and comedic, and the story does not give her specialized investigative skills.

She belongs to the group of professional party people living in Hanzawa's share house. The residents take part in parties and events, including gatherings intended to cheer up people affected by Beika's seemingly endless succession of crimes.

Rika appears as one of the residents of the Beika share house where Makoto Hanzawa settles after moving to the city. She is part of the recurring group that surrounds Hanzawa during his increasingly complicated attempts to establish an ordinary life while pursuing his original objective.

Her appearances are primarily comedic. Rika and her friends represent a side of Beika that has adapted completely to the city's absurdly high levels of danger, treating parties, jobs and everyday social life as things that must continue regardless of whatever crime has just occurred nearby.

Makoto Hanzawa is Rika's housemate. Rika's carefree social lifestyle frequently contrasts with Makoto Hanzawa's anxious and financially strained existence in Beika.

Rikio, Yuika, Shouta, Kenji, Nana, Anna and Oji are among the fellow share-house residents and party-loving acquaintances who form Rika's social circle.
