Reever Wenhamm

Reever is practical, intelligent and considerably more grounded than Komui Lee. He frequently objects to Komui's irresponsible experiments, bizarre inventions and tendency to create additional work for the Science Section, making him the most visible counterweight to his superior's eccentricity.

Behind the complaints is genuine loyalty. Reever respects Komui's abilities and takes the safety of his colleagues seriously. When headquarters comes under attack, he does not treat the scientists as expendable support personnel and repeatedly places himself in danger alongside them.

He dislikes tobacco and alcohol and prefers soft drinks. His academic strengths include mathematics, chemistry and languages.

Reever is a scientist rather than an Exorcist and cannot use Innocence. His value to the Black Order comes from technical knowledge, research and operational support.

As Science Section chief, he helps analyze Innocence, Akuma and battlefield information while coordinating the personnel responsible for maintaining the Order's technology. He is also capable of making rapid technical assessments during crises.

Although he lacks supernatural combat abilities, Reever shows considerable courage and physical resilience during attacks on headquarters. His experience working around Exorcists and Akuma allows him to remain functional in situations that would overwhelm ordinary civilians.

Reever is established early as one of the senior scientists at European Branch headquarters. He works directly beneath Komui Lee and becomes a familiar presence to Allen Walker, Lenalee Lee and the other Exorcists between missions.

His importance grows when the Black Order itself becomes a battlefield. During the Level 4 Akuma attack, Reever works alongside the Science Section while the creature tears through headquarters, emphasizing that the Order's non-Exorcist staff are directly exposed to the war.

Reever later remains one of the personnel caught between the Black Order's Exorcists and Central's increasingly severe policies. His loyalty is primarily to his colleagues rather than to the political ambitions of the institution overseeing them.

Komui Lee is Reever's superior and frequent source of frustration. Reever openly protests Komui's eccentric behavior but respects his intelligence and remains one of his most dependable subordinates.

Johnny Gill works under Reever in the Science Section. Reever treats him and the other scientists as colleagues whose lives matter, not disposable support personnel.

Lenalee Lee is Komui's younger sister and a longtime member of the headquarters community. Reever's familiarity with the siblings predates many of the newer Exorcists.

Allen Walker becomes another familiar member of Reever's headquarters circle. As Allen's position within the Order becomes increasingly dangerous, the scientists' personal attachment to him conflicts with Central's treatment of him.
