Personality
Personality
Nea is confident, calculating and openly hostile toward the established Noah Family. He possesses a sharp sense of humor and can appear relaxed even while discussing violence or pursuing dangerous objectives.
He is intensely independent and refuses to accept the role expected of him by the Noah. His determination to follow his own plan places him in opposition to both the Millennium Earl and, eventually, people who might otherwise regard the Noah as a common enemy.
Nea's attachment to Mana Walker is central to his past. Affection, resentment and the consequences of their shared origin make that relationship far more complicated than an ordinary sibling bond.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Nea is a Noah and possesses the enhanced physical abilities associated with the family. He is also an accomplished fighter capable of confronting other Noah directly.
As the Musician, he can control Noah's Ark through the piano associated with its governing system. The melody used to operate the Ark gives him access to functions that ordinary passengers cannot manipulate.
Nea's Noah memory and consciousness can survive independently of his original body. This allows him to re-emerge through Allen Walker, whose body was prepared to become his host. As Nea gains influence, he can temporarily take control of Allen's body.
Story Role
Story Role
Nea is initially known through references to the mysterious Fourteenth Noah, a figure who turned against the rest of his family decades before the main story. Cross Marian possesses knowledge of his plans, while the melody connected to Noah's Ark becomes an early sign of his continuing influence.
Nea attempted to kill the other Noah thirty-five years earlier and opposed the Millennium Earl. Before his original body was lost, he arranged for his memories to be transferred to a host so that he could return.
That host is Allen Walker. The gradual awakening of Nea inside Allen becomes one of the central reasons the Black Order places Allen under surveillance and one of the principal forces driving the later conflict.
Nea and Mana are not merely adoptive brothers drawn into Noah affairs: they are twin halves produced when the previous Millennium Earl split into two infants. This makes their relationship fundamental to the true nature of the Earl.
Relationships
Relationships
Mana Walker is Nea's older twin and the person at the center of his past. Both were created when the previous Millennium Earl divided into two babies, and their later conflict is inseparable from the Earl's current existence.
Allen Walker is the host chosen for Nea's memories. Nea gradually awakens inside him and can seize control of his body.
Caterina Eve Campbell raises Nea and Mana and serves as their adoptive mother.
Cross Marian works with Nea's plan and is entrusted with knowledge needed for the Fourteenth's eventual return.
Road Kamelot remembers the earlier conflict involving Nea and the Noah Family.
The Millennium Earl is Nea's principal target during his rebellion and is also intimately connected to Nea and Mana's origin.
