Mr. 13

Mr. 13 is disciplined, observant, and unsympathetic toward failing agents. He follows Baroque Works’ orders without questioning the organization’s practice of executing its own operatives.

He communicates nonverbally and works in close coordination with Miss Friday. Their duties require secrecy, rapid travel, and the ability to document people accurately after only brief observation.

Mr. 13 retains a somewhat professional detachment even during violence. He treats assassination and portraiture as assigned tasks rather than expressing a personal grudge against his targets.

Mr. 13 displays unusual intelligence and dexterity for an otter. He can paint recognizable portraits, handle messages, and understand the organizational structure and orders of Baroque Works.

In combat, he uses a pair of bladed seashells as weapons. His small size and mobility allow him to approach targets quickly, while the shells give him a means of cutting or stabbing opponents.

Working with Miss Friday expands his mobility. The vulture carries Mr. 13 through the air, allowing the Unluckies to travel between islands and conduct surveillance or attacks from above.

Mr. 13 and Miss Friday first observe events around Whisky Peak as Baroque Works’ messengers and disciplinary agents. They deliver the Eternal Pose intended to direct Nefertari Vivi and the Straw Hats toward Arabasta, then attempt to execute agents whose failure threatens the organization.

The Unluckies also create portraits of Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Roronoa Zoro, and Usopp. These images allow Baroque Works to identify the pirates escorting Vivi even though several agents have not met them personally.

At Little Garden, Sanji intercepts the Unluckies near Galdino’s communication station and defeats them. Their absence allows him to impersonate Mr. 3 while speaking to Crocodile, misleading the Baroque Works leader about the mission’s outcome.

Miss Friday is Mr. 13’s partner in the Unluckies. Miss Friday transports him through the air while he handles portraits, messages, and close-range attacks.

Crocodile is the hidden leader whose orders the Unluckies enforce. Nico Robin, as Miss All Sunday, operates above them in Baroque Works’ command structure.

Sanji defeats Mr. 13 and Miss Friday on Little Garden. Their defeat enables Sanji to deceive Crocodile over a Den Den Mushi.

Nefertari Vivi, Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Roronoa Zoro, and Usopp become subjects of the Unluckies’ identifying portraits.
