Mouja

Mouja is helpful, talkative and proud of the ship it maintains. It readily explains its systems to Sanko and responds to the crew's requests while treating the vessel's interior as something worth continually improving.

The arrival of additional passengers gives Mouja more work. It creates and remodels living spaces for the crew and reacts when its carefully arranged interior needs to be changed again.

Mouja also displays enough independence to be treated as a companion rather than a simple navigation program. Sanko speaks to its portable body directly and includes it naturally in life aboard the ship.

Mouja is powered by a Dark Core purchased from Misetani Box. The Core gives the vessel life and allows it to travel into and out of Darkness.

The small skull-headed body functions as a portable manifestation of the ship itself. Mouja can provide information, communicate with others and manage the vessel through this form.

Its interior radiates Dark energy. Ordinary beings cannot initially tolerate that environment; Hajime Damemaru, unlike Sanko and the other Dark natives, suffers catastrophic physical damage when first exposed to it.

Mouja can also remodel its own interior, creating rooms and amenities for its passengers. Dark Cores can produce unexplained spaces within the vessel, including the mysterious rooms that appear as the ship develops.

Sanko and Avakian collect bones to purchase the Dark Core needed to complete their hidden ship. After installation, Mouja appears and explains that it is the vessel's main body.

Sanko uses Mouja to contact Shimada Death, and the completed ship becomes the base from which their travels continue. Damemaru and Naghul'n later join them aboard it.

As the crew grows, Mouja becomes a recurring setting in its own right. Meals, repairs, planning and periods of recovery occur aboard the vessel between the group's increasingly dangerous expeditions.

Zaha Sanko owns and travels aboard Mouja after obtaining the Dark Core required to awaken it.

Avakian helped Sanko acquire and install the Dark Core and regularly interacts with Mouja's systems.

Shimada Death joins Sanko's travels aboard Mouja after the ship is completed.

Hajime Damemaru lives aboard Mouja despite initially being physically unable to withstand its Dark energy.

Naghul'n accompanies Damemaru aboard the vessel.

Misetani Box supplies the Dark Core that brings Mouja to life.
