Morgan

Morgan is earnest, persistent and more open to the supernatural than most residents of Enoch. His memories of Flora convince him that the old stories surrounding witches contain truth.

He is deeply concerned for his village. Despite his age and limited ability to fight, he undertakes a dangerous journey through troll-infested territory because conventional defenses have failed.

Morgan also retains a sense of wonder about the strange world he encountered in youth. Meeting Flora again confirms memories that others might have dismissed as fantasy.

Morgan is an ordinary elderly human with no supernatural abilities or significant combat skills.

His principal contribution is knowledge. Because he encountered Flora's mansion in his youth, he knows that a powerful witch lives somewhere in the surrounding forest and can guide Guts's group toward her territory.

Morgan's persistence also serves as the connection between Enoch's crisis and Flora's magical assistance.

Morgan searches for Flora after trolls begin abducting women and killing villagers around Enoch. He meets Guts's party while traveling and explains the village's increasingly desperate situation.

After reaching Flora's mansion, Morgan asks for her help. Flora sends Schierke to assist the village, while Guts and his companions join the defense.

Morgan subsequently witnesses magic and astral beings becoming undeniable parts of the conflict, validating the strange experience he remembered from his youth.

Flora met Morgan when he was young. Decades later, he seeks her out because he remembers her as someone capable of helping Enoch.

Schierke is sent by Flora to help Morgan's village against the trolls.

Guts, Casca, Farnese, Serpico and Isidro encounter Morgan during his journey and become involved in Enoch's defense.
