Kizashi

Kizashi is exuberant, childish and obsessed with friendship. He approaches powerful beings with immediate enthusiasm and can speak about becoming friends even while participating in lethal violence.

His definition of friendship depends heavily on strength. A traumatic early encounter with a fragile creature leads him toward the belief that weak companions inevitably disappear, encouraging him to seek friends capable of surviving whatever happens around him.

That worldview makes his affection dangerous. Kizashi does not necessarily recognize the boundaries that humans would consider essential to friendship, and his desire to preserve strong companions can coexist with brutal actions against anyone he considers weak.

Kizashi is scientifically classified as the Octobomb Majik. His body and magic are built around explosive power, giving him destructive attacks suited to overwhelming opponents at close and intermediate ranges.

His octopus-like physiology provides multiple limbs and considerable flexibility in combat. Explosive abilities can be incorporated into his movements, turning physical attacks into large-scale blasts.

Kizashi is powerful enough to operate as one of the Seven Stars, the exceptional Majiks aligned with the World-Hater. His abilities make the confrontation aboard the Chronostasis dangerous even for Ichi's group and the Chronoweaver.

Kizashi appears during the Demonic Ocean expedition near the Chronostasis. His arrival transforms an already unusual encounter with the Chronoweaver into a direct confrontation involving one of the powerful Majiks connected to the wider threat facing humanity.

His past reveals that his fixation on strong friends originates with a small fish he once befriended after first manifesting. The experience teaches him a warped lesson about weakness and loss.

Kizashi ultimately targets Minerva and her unborn child, forcing the Chronoweaver into increasingly extreme uses of temporal magic. After the battle, Desscaras acquires Kizashi, bringing one of the Seven Stars into her collection of Majiks.

Jisou no Mahou has a longstanding connection with Kizashi. Their interactions are hostile and abrasive, but Minerva recognizes something resembling friendship between them.

Minerva understands Kizashi's relationship with the Chronoweaver better than either Majik openly admits. She later becomes Kizashi's target during the conflict aboard the Chronostasis.

Uroro immediately attracts Kizashi's interest as an exceptionally powerful Majik, and Kizashi enthusiastically wants to become friends with him.

Desscaras confronts Kizashi during the Chronostasis conflict. She ultimately acquires him.

Han-Sekai no Mahou leads the Seven Stars with which Kizashi is affiliated.
