Jisou no Mahou

The Chronoweaver is aloof, blunt and largely indifferent toward humans. His disinterest can initially resemble hostility, but he does not share the ideological hatred of humanity displayed by Majiks such as Han-Sekai no Mahou.

Minerva is the major exception. He is intensely protective of her and willing to expend extraordinary amounts of power when her safety is threatened.

His interactions with Kizashi also reveal a more complicated social history than his isolation suggests. Although the two Majiks are very different, Minerva recognizes that their past interactions resemble a strange form of friendship.

The Chronoweaver controls time. His magic can create bubbles within which the passage of time is altered or stopped, allowing him to isolate targets from ordinary temporal progression.

His powers extend beyond simple stasis. He can manipulate temporal direction to rewind events within the range of his magic and can accelerate time under extreme circumstances.

The ability is extraordinarily powerful but not limitless. Excessive manipulation consumes his strength, and his circumstances aboard the Chronostasis further complicate how much magical power he can safely expend.

The Chronoweaver becomes the central Majik of Team Desscaras's expedition into the Demonic Ocean. What initially appears to be another dangerous acquisition mission develops differently once Ichi and his companions discover Minerva living aboard the Chronostasis.

Minerva is the Chronoweaver's wife and is carrying their child, an unprecedented human-Majik hybrid whose development draws magical energy from him. This explains part of his weakened condition and his fierce protectiveness toward the ship.

When Kizashi attacks Minerva, the Chronoweaver repeatedly manipulates time to protect her and ultimately pushes his power beyond its sustainable limit. Before dying, he entrusts the future to the others and gives his daughter the name Madoka.

Minerva is the Chronoweaver's human wife and the person he values above all others. Their relationship develops after he rescues her at sea.

Kizashi knew the Chronoweaver before Team Desscaras arrived. Their relationship resembles an abrasive friendship despite Kizashi's later hostility.

Ichi encounters the Chronoweaver during the Demonic Ocean expedition and becomes involved in protecting his family.
