Kiria

Kiria is confident, sadistic and intensely battle-hungry. She smiles and taunts opponents while fighting and has little hesitation about attacking strangers when she believes they might provide entertainment. Her enthusiasm becomes particularly pronounced around swords and sword fighters; the sound of blades colliding excites her rather than intimidating her.

She is also cunning. Kiria can tolerate temporary disadvantages if doing so helps lure out a target, and she quickly analyzes unusual opponents. Her pursuit of stronger Dragon Slayers follows the same predatory logic Diabolos applies to dragons: power is something to be hunted and consumed.

Kiria wields Blade Dragon Slayer Magic, acquired through the Fifth Generation method of gaining Dragon Slayer power by consuming dragon flesh or another compatible Dragon Slayer. Her magic allows her to produce and manipulate cutting energy, turning her limbs into sources of powerful slashes.

Her techniques include Blade Dragon's Sword Dance and other large-scale cutting attacks. More unusually, Kiria can conceptually "cut" qualities rather than merely physical matter. She demonstrates the ability to cut Erza's strength, drastically changing Erza's behavior and combat effectiveness until the effect is overcome.

Like other Fifth Generation Dragon Slayers, Kiria has access to the dangerous Dragon Force associated with Dragon Eaters, although its use carries particular risks.

Kiria is among the first Diabolos members Team Natsu encounters in Guiltina. She initially appears imprisoned as bait for what she believes to be Mercphobia, only to reveal that the captivity is part of her hunt. After discovering that her target is not the genuine Water Dragon God, she turns her attention toward Natsu and his companions.

Her introduction establishes Diabolos as a rival force pursuing the Dragon Gods for entirely different reasons from Fairy Tail. Rather than sealing dragons, the Dragon Eaters intend to consume them and acquire their abilities. Kiria subsequently clashes repeatedly with Fairy Tail, particularly Erza Scarlet and Laxus Dreyar.

Skullion Raider acts as the leader of Kiria's team and is capable of overruling her when her enthusiasm for battle threatens the group's objectives. Kiria does not always appreciate his interference but continues to operate alongside him.

Madmole is Kiria's regular teammate and often serves as the calmer counterweight to her impulsiveness. He intervenes to protect her when necessary.

Erza Scarlet becomes one of Kiria's major opponents. Kiria is delighted by Erza's swordsmanship and treats their clashes as exactly the kind of battle she enjoys.

Laxus Dreyar attracts Kiria's attention both as a powerful Dragon Slayer and, after defeating her, as the focus of an increasingly obvious attraction. She nevertheless continues viewing his Dragon Slayer power through the predatory instincts of a Dragon Eater.

Misaki is a senior Diabolos member whom Kiria respects in an older-sister-like manner.

Mercphobia is one of Kiria's original hunting targets, while Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia and Happy become her opponents after encountering her during that hunt.
