George is arrogant, competitive and remarkably unconcerned about the dangers of Gantz. He is confident enough to fight powerful targets alone even when cooperation would be safer.

His attitude toward teammates can be callous. When another veteran insists on fighting an enemy alone, George is willing to let him face the consequences rather than intervene immediately.

That arrogance is supported by genuine ability: George has cleared the game three times and can defeat enemies worth scores that would be extraordinary for most hunters.

George is proficient with the Z-Gun, whose delayed attack crushes targets through enormous downward force. His use of the weapon during Osaka provides the Tokyo hunters with an early demonstration of its destructive potential.

He is also highly capable with a Gantz sword and possesses the enhanced physical abilities provided by the suit.

George defeats a powerful boss target worth 68 points by himself, demonstrating that his reputation is not merely bravado.

George appears when the Tokyo team is unexpectedly transferred into Osaka's enormous Nurarihyon mission. He belongs to the city's veteran group, where multiple 100-point clears have produced a much more competitive hunting culture.

He fights increasingly powerful yōkai and continues attacking even after other veterans begin recognizing the danger posed by the mission's principal boss.

George and Kuwabara initially cut Nurarihyon apart, only for the creature to regenerate in a form adapted to their attacks. George refuses to withdraw and tries to overpower it physically; Nurarihyon transforms again and kills him.

Nobuo Muroya is a fellow veteran with whom George competes and fights during the Osaka hunt.

Kazuo Kuwabara joins George against the mission's strongest enemy. After their sword attack fails, Kuwabara withdraws while George stubbornly continues fighting.

Anzu Yamasaki knows George as one of Osaka's repeat-clearing veterans and criticizes his reckless fighting style.

Nurarihyon becomes George's final and most dangerous opponent.
