Inose

Inose is blunt, skeptical and protective of his division’s independence. He resents being expected to obey an unknown officer and even questions whether he can rely on Lieutenant Kira’s optimistic judgment.

His distrust softens when Amagai acknowledges the division’s concerns instead of demanding immediate obedience. Inose remains outspoken, but he is not disloyal to the Gotei 13.

Inose is a trained Shinigami assigned to the Third Division. He carries a standard Zanpakutō, but its name, Shikai and abilities are not disclosed.

No seated rank or distinctive combat feat is established for him.

Inose voices the rank-and-file resistance that Amagai faces upon assuming command. His challenge gives the new captain an opportunity to respond with humility and begin earning the division’s cooperation.

He later attends Amagai’s welcome party, participates in the division’s duties and receives orders during emergencies in the Dangai. He remains separate from the secret Bakkōtō conspiracy.

Aida is Inose’s fellow Third Division member and confidant. Shūsuke Amagai is the new captain he initially distrusts.

Izuru Kira is his lieutenant, though Inose initially doubts Kira’s support for the appointment. Makoto Kibune joins the division with Amagai and attempts to ease tensions during the welcoming party.
