Aida

Aida is cautious and receptive to rumors circulating within the division. Although uncertain about Amagai, he is less confrontational than Inose and hesitates when they challenge the new captain directly.

His doubts reflect the wider division’s anxiety after Gin’s betrayal rather than personal hostility toward Amagai.

Aida is trained as a Gotei 13 Shinigami and carries a Zanpakutō, but its name and release are never revealed. No individual combat technique, Kidō spell or seated rank is established.

Aida discusses Amagai’s appointment with Inose, repeating a rumor that the new captain had served in a distant Hollow-suppression unit. He attends the welcoming gathering and observes Amagai’s attempts to gain the division’s trust.

As the arc continues, Aida carries out ordinary Third Division duties and appears among the subordinates responding to emergencies. He does not participate in the conspiracy surrounding Amagai.

Inose is Aida’s closest on-screen colleague and shares his initial reservations. Shūsuke Amagai is the captain whose unfamiliar background concerns him.

Izuru Kira is Aida’s lieutenant and the familiar officer he expects to provide stability. Makoto Kibune arrives with Amagai and attempts to become acquainted with the division.
