When Riko explores the market, she notices one of Lyza's notes among Gaume's merchandise and instinctively reaches for it. Gaume immediately stops her, providing Riko with an early lesson in the village's strict treatment of Value.
Gaume later trades the note for a piece of Faputa and participates in the village's final struggle.
