Fujiko Mine

Fujiko is clever, independent, opportunistic, and extremely comfortable manipulating people. She routinely uses charm, deception, and carefully calculated alliances to obtain valuables or information.

Her loyalty is deliberately fluid. Fujiko can cooperate with Lupin during one stage of a scheme and attempt to claim the prize for herself during the next. Lupin understands this tendency remarkably well and continues trusting her in situations where almost anyone else would have stopped doing so.

Despite her self-interest, Fujiko is not indifferent to other people. Her actions during the Detective Conan crossovers show genuine concern when innocent lives are threatened, and she can abandon personal profit when circumstances become serious enough.

Fujiko is an expert thief with advanced skills in infiltration, disguise, lock manipulation, deception, surveillance, firearms, and driving. Her ability to gain access to secure locations through social manipulation is as important as her physical skills.

She is an accomplished shooter and can handle numerous weapons competently. Fujiko is also highly athletic and capable of escaping dangerous situations through a combination of improvisation, physical ability, and advance planning.

Her greatest advantage is often social intelligence. Fujiko quickly identifies what people want and uses that knowledge to manipulate criminals, police officers, wealthy targets, and even Lupin himself.

Fujiko first crosses paths with Conan during the Vespania incident. While Lupin pursues the kingdom's Queen Crown, Fujiko becomes involved with Mira Julietta Vespaland after the princess escapes her official handlers in Japan.

She accompanies Mira during her brief experience of ordinary life and later becomes involved in the effort to uncover the conspiracy threatening the Vespania royal family.

Fujiko returns during Lupin III vs. Detective Conan: The Movie, when another of Lupin's seemingly ordinary thefts conceals a larger operation. Alan Smithee places an explosive collar around Fujiko's neck and uses her as leverage to force Lupin to cooperate with his demands.

Arsène Lupin III is Fujiko's recurring partner, rival, and love interest. She frequently deceives Arsène Lupin III over valuable loot, but their attachment survives betrayals that would end most partnerships.

Daisuke Jigen is one of Lupin's closest associates and frequently distrusts Fujiko because of her habit of changing sides.

Goemon Ishikawa XIII likewise works alongside Fujiko when their interests align, although her unpredictability can complicate the group's plans.

Conan Edogawa attracts Fujiko's curiosity during the Vespania incident. [She knows that Conan Edogawa is actually Shinichi Kudo and openly teases him about the effects of APTX 4869.](#spoiler)

Mira Julietta Vespaland spends time with Fujiko after escaping her royal obligations, with Fujiko serving as an unconventional companion and protector.

Alan Smithee uses Fujiko as a hostage to compel Lupin's cooperation during the Cherry Sapphire operation.
