Enari is initially characterized through his role as Pinko's son rather than through extensive independent behavior. The Love Choriss simulation treats his relationship with his mother as an important part of successfully navigating Pinko's route.
When later versions of the simulation expand his role, Enari displays concern for Pinko's happiness. He encourages her not to sacrifice her own future merely because she feels obligated to remain devoted to her family circumstances.

Enari is a virtual human generated within Love Choriss rather than a conventional resident of Edo. He has no established combat powers or supernatural abilities independent of the dating simulation.
Love Choriss characters can become perceptible within the game's increasingly absurd augmented reality, allowing Enari and the other virtual figures to interact with the players' experience beyond an ordinary game screen.

Enari appears when Sakata Gintoki is forced to play Love Choriss in an attempt to confront Shimura Shinpachi's attachment to Anigasaki Momo. Gintoki receives Shiramizu Pinko as his virtual girlfriend and immediately becomes frustrated with the game.
Gintoki violently shuts down the system, and the game interprets his action as killing Enari. Pinko subsequently appears carrying her son's body and relentlessly blames Gintoki, transforming what was already an undesirable dating-sim route into a horror scenario.
A modified version of Enari later appears during the Love Choriss tournament and helps push Pinko toward acknowledging her own desires rather than remaining trapped by family obligation.

Shiramizu Pinko is Enari's mother within Love Choriss and the character to whom he is most closely connected. She is fiercely protective of him, and one version of her becomes consumed with vengeance against Gintoki after Enari's death within the simulation.
Sakata Gintoki becomes connected to Enari by playing Pinko's route. Gintoki's violent shutdown of the game causes Enari's apparent death and makes Pinko's subsequent interactions with him overwhelmingly hostile.
Shimura Shinpachi's obsession with Anigasaki Momo is the reason Gintoki enters Love Choriss in the first place, indirectly creating the circumstances of Enari's involvement.
