Chrysler

Chrysler is opportunistic, deceptive and desperate to participate in the Shaman Fight. Having failed to secure his own place, he chooses theft rather than accepting the result.

He is also quick to panic when his plan begins collapsing. His decisions become increasingly reckless during the pursuit, culminating in dangerous attempts to escape rather than reconsidering his actions.

His confidence relies heavily on having an advantage over others. Once confronted by several capable shamans and the Lily Five together, his control of the situation disappears.

Chrysler is a shaman whose Guardian Ghost is Vanessa, a Seirei-class spider spirit. His spiritual medium is chewing gum, which he habitually chews.

By integrating Vanessa into the gum, he creates O.S. Gummy Spirit Form. The manifestation allows Vanessa to produce extremely durable spider threads that Chrysler can fire toward opponents.

Spider String can bind a target and restrict movement. The webbing remains present as long as Chrysler maintains the Over Soul, giving him an effective technique for capturing or immobilizing people rather than relying on direct physical attacks.

Chrysler appears during the American journey after failing the Shaman Fight's entrance test. Still determined to participate, he decides to obtain an Oracle Bell from someone who qualified.

He targets Millie, restrains her with Vanessa's webbing and steals her Oracle Bell. Yoh and his companions agree to help Millie and pursue Chrysler, eventually catching up with him after a dangerous bus chase.

During the confrontation, the stolen Oracle Bell is broken. Chrysler then takes Millie hostage and demands another Bell, but Elly and the rest of the Lily Five intervene. Silva subsequently explains that stealing an Oracle Bell could never have worked because each device responds only to the contestant for whom it was issued.

Chrysler is exclusive to the 2001 anime continuity and has no counterpart in the original manga or the 2021 adaptation.

Millie is Chrysler's principal target. He steals her Oracle Bell and later holds her hostage when his plan begins to fail.

Vanessa is Chrysler's spider Guardian Ghost and the source of his web-based Over Soul.

Elly intervenes when Chrysler threatens Millie and helps end his attempt to obtain another Oracle Bell.

Yoh Asakura, Horohoro, Ren Tao and Lyserg Diethel participate in the pursuit after agreeing to help Millie.

Silva arrives after the confrontation, replaces Millie's Oracle Bell and takes Chrysler into custody.
