Elly

As Macy's pet, Elly is affectionate and protective toward her owner. When media coverage upsets Macy, Elly responds to her anger and is willing to attack on her behalf.

She is nevertheless a Dragon rather than an ordinary domesticated animal. Her aggression can become destructive, particularly when Macy is threatened or separated from her.

After molting into her mature form, Elly's behavior changes dramatically. She becomes vastly more destructive and no longer responds to Macy's pleas in the familiar manner Macy expects.

Elly is a powerful Dragon capable of firing destructive blasts and attacking witches directly. Even before reaching full maturity, she can inflict significant structural damage.

She possesses Stealth Scale, allowing her to vanish from sight and evade opponents attempting to track her.

Elly's true identity is Cinderella, one of the seven Märchen: ancient Dragons said to have existed before Reverse London itself and regarded as progenitors of Dark Dragons. Under moonlight, she molts into an enormous white, birdlike Dragon whose destructive abilities dwarf those of ordinary Dragons.

As Cinderella, she can release Star Ash, an immensely destructive attack capable of devastating large areas of Reverse London. Her principal vulnerability is the crown-shaped horn on her head.

Macy finds Elly as an infant and secretly raises her for roughly two months. Because only Macy appears able to see the creature, she interprets Elly's presence as proof that she has finally found something uniquely meaningful to her.

Elly becomes involved in Macy's retaliation against The Realist's and is discovered by Ninny and Noel Niihashi. Wing Bind's prohibition on unauthorized Dragon contact immediately places Macy in danger of severe punishment.

Bruno Bangnyfe attempts to use Elly in his operation against Balgo Parks, but she turns on the situation and molts beneath the moonlight. Noel and Bruno recognize her mature form as Cinderella, one of the Märchen.

Cinderella overwhelms the witches attempting to stop her and causes widespread destruction. Billy Banx Jr. ultimately targets her crown-shaped horn from a great distance and destroys it, bringing her rampage to an end.

Macy Baljure finds Elly, names her and raises her as a pet. Macy's emotional dependence on the Dragon becomes central to the conflict surrounding them.

Ninny Spangcole tries to persuade Macy to surrender Elly after discovering the illegal Dragon, placing her directly against Macy's determination to keep her.

Noel Niihashi confronts Elly when the Dragon attacks and initially incapacitates her with a Witch Kit blast.

Bruno Bangnyfe attempts to manipulate the situation involving Elly but loses control once her identity as Cinderella emerges.

Billy Banx Jr. ultimately destroys Cinderella by striking the vulnerable crown-shaped horn.
