Chikutoge Togeice

Chikutoge is disciplined, dignified and intensely conscious of appearances. She believes witches representing Mantinel should remain neat, composed and professional, making Ichi's wild upbringing and Desscaras's disregard for rules recurring sources of frustration.

She is competitive but not petty. Her objections to Ichi are based primarily on whether he has received enough education to represent the Association responsibly, rather than resentment that a man can use magic.

Chikutoge's arguments with Desscaras conceal genuine affection. The two understand each other extremely well after years of rivalry and can cooperate in combat with little communication.

Chikutoge specializes in ice-related Majiks and possesses enough power to fight alongside Desscaras against exceptionally dangerous opponents. Her acquired magic allows her to construct ice barriers, freeze targets and summon Majiks with large-scale offensive capabilities.

Huldra summons an enormous three-headed ice dragon capable of freezing its surroundings with its breath. Helganma manifests a huge subterranean creature that devours targets and freezes what it consumes. Nord creates a rapidly advancing path of ice.

Durandla is one of Chikutoge's most dangerous offensive techniques, freezing the target she indicates before shattering the resulting ice. She also possesses utility magic such as Skopia, which produces a magical monocle for viewing distant targets.

After acquiring Macilvaine, Chikutoge gains access to Mushroom Burst, allowing her to create enormous mushrooms capable of restraining targets. The inelegant mushroom Majik comically breaks her previous tendency to collect beautiful ice-related magic.

Chikutoge formally enters the story during the debate over what the Mantinel Witches Association should do with Ichi. She argues that announcing him publicly before he understands the responsibilities of being a witch would be reckless.

Shirabedonna resolves the disagreement by proposing a Majik-hunting competition. Ichi and Chikutoge race to acquire Macilvaine, the Kindake Majik threatening Hoitaka.

The competition is interrupted by the appearance of Han-Sekai no Mahou. Chikutoge subsequently joins Desscaras in confronting the S-tier threat while the local population is evacuated, demonstrating the level of combat expected from Mantinel's elite witches.

Desscaras is Chikutoge's longtime rival and close friend. They have competed since their cadet years, and their opposing personalities cause frequent arguments despite deep mutual trust.

Ichi initially frustrates Chikutoge because she considers him insufficiently educated to represent Mantinel. Their Majik-hunting competition becomes her first opportunity to judge him directly.

Monegold holds Chikutoge in high regard for her achievements, discipline and devotion to the Association.

Macilvaine is one of Chikutoge's acquired Majiks, despite its mushroom-based powers conflicting hilariously with her preference for elegant ice Majiks.
