Libro is bright, optimistic and fascinated by magic. Being male prevents him from becoming a witch under the magical understanding of his era, but he refuses to let that stop him from studying the subject.

He is particularly supportive of Desscaras. Rather than resenting his sister for possessing the magical potential denied to him, Libro encourages her to train and takes genuine excitement in seeing what she can accomplish.

His enthusiasm helps soften Desscaras's more abrasive temperament during their childhood. Their interactions show a warm sibling relationship built around Libro's curiosity and Desscaras's extraordinary talent.

Libro is not a witch and has no established ability to acquire or cast Majik magic. His interest in the subject is intellectual, leading him to read extensively about magic even though the society around him considers becoming a witch impossible for a boy.

He trains alongside Desscaras in the sense of helping and encouraging her practice, but the actual magical power belongs to his sister.

Libro appears through Desscaras's memories when the story begins exploring why she responds so strongly to Ichi. The resemblance is not primarily physical; both boys possess an intense fascination with experiences that the magical world tells them should be impossible.

Fifteen years before the main story, Han-Sekai no Mahou attacks Polaris Mountain. Libro is caught within the catastrophic destruction while Desscaras is separated from him by the Majik's power. His death becomes the defining trauma of Desscaras's life and a central reason the World-Hater is personal to her rather than merely an Association target.

When prophecy later predicts that Ichi will die while defeating the World-Hater, Desscaras's memories of Libro make accepting another loss impossible. Her decision to bind herself to Ichi through a mentor-pupil blood contract is shaped directly by that history.

Desscaras is Libro's older sister. He admires her magical ability and encourages her to become stronger rather than envying the opportunities unavailable to him.

Ichi never meets Libro, but Desscaras recognizes similarities between the two boys. Those similarities contribute to her decision to regard Ichi as family rather than simply a pupil.

Han-Sekai no Mahou becomes inseparably connected to Libro's history through the destruction of Polaris Mountain that kills him and shapes Desscaras's future.
