Bukiko Udou

Udou is aggressive, cruel and deliberately provocative. She attacks Konomi Mera and Kuroudo Iizuka without provocation and dismisses the violence as merely fooling around.

She shows little sympathy when discussing the Wedding Feast and actively enjoys upsetting Medaka. Her affiliation with an organization serving the Kurokami marriage system does not translate into deference toward the Kurokami family itself.

Her bravado has limits. When confronted with Medaka's overwhelming presence and willingness to participate directly in the Wedding Feast, Udou becomes visibly intimidated.

Udou is a capable spear fighter. She can incapacitate strong Hakoniwa students quickly and uses her weapon with enough force to establish herself as a genuine physical threat when she first arrives.

Her fighting style is direct and violent rather than built around an elaborate supernatural ability. No named Abnormality, Minus or Style is established for her.

Udou's position within the Gekka Hyoujin Kai also gives her detailed knowledge of the Jet Black Wedding Feast's procedures, participating families and rules.

Udou arrives at Hakoniwa and violently announces the second Jet Black Wedding Feast. She explains that Medaka has been selected as the bride and that representatives connected to the Kurokami family's marriage arrangements will compete around her.

Her arrival forces Medaka to confront a family tradition she had no intention of accepting quietly. Udou accompanies the process as a Gekka Hyoujin Kai representative and helps explain the structure of the competition.

The apparent deaths of the initial suitors and the subsequent revelation that doubles have been used transform Udou's announcement into part of a much larger deception surrounding the Wedding Feast.

Medaka Kurokami is the bride whose second Jet Black Wedding Feast Udou is assigned to oversee. Udou repeatedly taunts Medaka Kurokami, but becomes intimidated when Medaka responds with complete resolve.

Konomi Mera is one of the first Hakoniwa students Udou attacks upon arriving.

Kuroudo Iizuka is attacked alongside Mera when Udou introduces herself at Hakoniwa.

Fukurou Tsurubami is deeply involved in the circumstances behind the second Wedding Feast that Udou helps administer.

Kajiki Kurokami's earlier Jet Black Wedding Feast provides the family precedent for the competition Udou oversees around Medaka.
