Synopsis
Humanity survives behind three enormous concentric walls that provide protection from the man-eating Titans outside. That century of relative peace ends when the Colossal Titan breaches the outer defenses, devastating Eren Yeager's hometown and separating him from the life he shared with Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. Eren subsequently joins the military with the declared goal of eradicating every Titan.
The film condenses episodes 1–13 of the television anime's first season, covering the fall of Shiganshina, the cadets' training, and the struggle for Trost District. Its theatrical edit presents the opening phase of the story as a single feature, supplementing the television material with revised animation, new dubbing, and additional scenes.
