Personality
Personality
Wisely is playful, inquisitive and casually invasive. Reading another person's thoughts carries little of the moral weight for him that it would for an ordinary human, and he uses his ability with the ease of conversation.
He is strongly attached to the Noah Family and understands their shared memories unusually well. His youthful appearance and behavior coexist with knowledge stretching far beyond the lifetime of his current human body.
Wisely can also be surprisingly perceptive about emotional conflicts. Entering minds gives him access to fears and memories people would prefer to conceal, and he is willing to exploit them when serving the Noah's objectives.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
As the Noah of Wisdom, Wisely possesses extraordinary mental abilities. His additional eyes allow him to read minds, communicate telepathically and enter a person's consciousness.
He can manipulate perception and force targets into mental spaces constructed from their memories. This makes him capable of incapacitating or interrogating opponents without relying on conventional physical attacks.
Wisely can also connect multiple minds, allowing memories to be observed by others. His Noah physiology grants the enhanced resilience associated with the family in addition to these psychic abilities.
Story Role
Story Role
Wisely awakens shortly before the conflict surrounding the Artificial Exorcists and joins the Noah Family as its incarnation of Wisdom. His knowledge makes him particularly valuable when the family turns its attention toward the Asian Branch.
He becomes directly involved with Yu Kanda, Allen Walker, Alma Karma and Road Kamelot. Wisely links their consciousnesses to Kanda's buried memories, exposing the truth of the Second Exorcist experiments and Kanda's relationship with Alma.
His memory of the Fourteenth's earlier conflict with the Noah also makes Wisely one of the family members capable of recognizing how the present crisis connects to events thirty-five years earlier.
Relationships
Relationships
The Millennium Earl is the head of the Noah Family Wisely serves after awakening.
Road Kamelot shares an unusually deep awareness of the Noah's past with Wisely.
Yu Kanda becomes one of Wisely's principal targets at the Asian Branch. Wisely enters Kanda's mind and exposes memories that Kanda himself had suppressed.
Alma Karma is central to the memories Wisely forces Kanda and the others to confront.
Allen Walker becomes caught in Wisely's manipulation during the confrontation surrounding Kanda and Alma.
