Ueshima

Ueshima is relaxed enough to joke with the other Scar Chain members even while they prepare for a dangerous breakout. The group functions as a community as well as a resistance movement, and he participates comfortably in its conversations about what life might be like outside the prison.

His limited appearances do not establish an extensive individual background, but he willingly takes part in Scar Chain's plan despite knowing that the Undertakers stand between the Deadmen and freedom.

As a Deadman, Ueshima can manipulate blood outside his body. The manga and anime never reveal the specialized form of his Branch of Sin, so no particular blood weapon or technique can be attributed to him.

He nevertheless participates alongside other Deadmen during Scar Chain's operation and is physically capable of taking part in the attempted breakout.

Ueshima appears among the Scar Chain members gathered for the planned mass escape. He joins the group attempting to move through Deadman Wonderland while others work to open a route to the surface.

In the anime, Ueshima talks with the other escapees about what they might do once they are free, including joking with Endō about meeting his wife. The Undertakers intercept the group, and Ueshima is killed during the failed breakout. The manga leaves his precise fate less explicit, although he does not appear among the known survivors.

Nagi Kengamine leads Scar Chain and organizes the escape operation Ueshima joins.

Karako Koshio is Scar Chain's second-in-command and helps lead its resistance against Deadman Wonderland.

Endō is a fellow Scar Chain member with whom Ueshima jokes about life outside the prison.

Genkaku Azuma leads the Undertakers opposing Scar Chain and is responsible for Ueshima's death in the anime adaptation.
