Towako Okano

Towako is confident and composed when Kogoro Mouri, Conan Edogawa and the police arrive at her club. She does not display the same level of alarm as the investigators despite learning that her name may have placed her in danger.

Her characterization is limited by her brief appearance, but she is comfortable around Kogoro and familiar enough with him that he immediately thinks of her when the investigators begin searching for someone whose name corresponds to the number ten.

Towako is an ordinary human with no established combat, investigative or supernatural abilities. Her professional experience lies in operating Club Towako.

The film does not establish any specialized skills beyond those associated with managing and working at her club. She does not become directly involved in solving the numbered attacks.

Towako enters the investigation after attacks corresponding to playing-card values lead Kogoro Mouri and the police to search for a possible "ten." Kogoro remembers that Towako's given name contains the relevant character and leads the investigators to Club Towako.

She is found unharmed, but the possibility that she could be the next target prompts the police to protect her. Her apparent place in the sequence initially strengthens the theory that someone is deliberately targeting Kogoro's acquaintances according to the numbers represented in their names.

Towako is ultimately not one of the intended victims. Hiroki Tsuji, whose surname contains the kanji for ten, is the actual ten in the constructed sequence, while the wider pattern is deliberately designed to misdirect investigators toward Jo Murakami.

Kogoro Mouri is acquainted with Towako and immediately remembers her when investigators search for a person connected to him whose name contains the number ten.

Conan Edogawa accompanies Kogoro Mouri and the police when they visit Club Towako during the investigation.

Juzo Megure participates in the effort to protect Towako after investigators consider her a possible target.

Hiroki Tsuji has no direct relationship with Towako, but he rather than Towako is the person ultimately occupying the number-ten position in the attacker's playing-card sequence.
