Tanaka

Tanaka is loyal, excitable, and confident in Gran Tesoro's security systems. He takes his responsibilities seriously but often expresses himself with the exaggerated energy characteristic of Tesoro's entertainment empire.

He is particularly proud of his ability to appear unexpectedly by passing through walls and floors.

The Nuke Nuke no Mi allows Tanaka to move through solid inorganic objects. Walls, floors, and other barriers therefore offer little protection against him.

This ability makes him an effective security officer because he can bypass conventional routes, ambush intruders, and move through Gran Tesoro's enormous structure with unusual freedom.

Tanaka monitors Gran Tesoro for Tesoro and becomes involved when the Straw Hats and their allies begin undermining the casino king's operation.

His security role places him against members of the crew attempting to navigate restricted areas of the ship.

Gild Tesoro is Tanaka's employer and commander.

Baccarat is another senior member of Gran Tesoro's staff. Carina operates within the same organization while secretly pursuing her own objectives.
