Carina is clever, deceptive, confident, and highly adaptable. She frequently withholds her real intentions and is willing to manipulate both enemies and allies when doing so advances her plans.

Despite her rivalry with Nami, the two understand one another extremely well and share a professional respect built during their earlier lives as thieves.

Carina has no established Devil Fruit or Haki. Her principal strengths are infiltration, deception, theft and performance.

She is also a talented singer, allowing her to operate naturally within Gran Tesoro's entertainment environment while concealing her activities as a thief.

Carina works inside Gran Tesoro when the Straw Hats arrive and becomes involved after Tesoro traps them through his casino system.

She presents herself as someone working within Tesoro's organization while simultaneously pursuing an elaborate theft. Her ultimate objective is Gran Tesoro's immense fortune rather than simple loyalty to either side.

Nami is Carina's old acquaintance and rival from their days as thieves.

Gild Tesoro employs Carina as a singer within Gran Tesoro while remaining unaware of the full extent of her plans. Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hats become her temporary allies during the operation against Tesoro.
