Suzuna Taki

Suzuna is lively, outspoken and highly expressive. She moves almost everywhere on rollerblades and approaches unfamiliar people with considerably less hesitation than Sena.

She frequently serves as the sensible counterpoint to her brother. Natsuhiko's posing, vanity and lack of basic football knowledge frustrate her, and she has no difficulty punishing or criticizing him when his behavior deserves it.

Suzuna quickly becomes comfortable around the Devil Bats and throws herself into supporting the team despite not being a player.

Suzuna is an accomplished rollerblader, using skates as her ordinary means of movement and demonstrating excellent balance and agility on them.

Her contribution to Deimon is primarily motivational. She appoints herself cheerleading captain and helps organize sideline support for the team.

Although she does not play competitive football, repeated exposure to Deimon's games gives her familiarity with the sport and its players.

Suzuna enters while searching America for Natsuhiko. Sena, separated from the rest of Deimon during the Death March, hears that American bikers have encountered a Japanese girl connected to football and mistakenly thinks they mean Mamori.

That misunderstanding leads Sena to Suzuna, and their search eventually connects both of them with Natsuhiko. Suzuna then becomes a recurring supporter of Deimon.

Her presence expands the group around the team beyond its formal players and manager, and she remains involved throughout the major tournament matches.

Natsuhiko Taki is Suzuna's older brother. She cares enough to cross the Pacific searching for Natsuhiko Taki, but she is also one of the people least impressed by his exaggerated self-image.

Sena Kobayakawa meets Suzuna during Deimon's American training trip and helps her search for her brother.

Mamori Anezaki becomes Suzuna's friend and fellow supporter around the Devil Bats.

Koharu Wakana is another high-school football manager with whom Suzuna becomes friendly.
