Shalott

Shalott is arrogant, theatrical and openly contemptuous of opponents, often describing people beneath him in demeaning terms. His feminine dress and mannerisms are presented as deliberate parts of his appearance rather than indicators that he identifies as female.

His behavior toward Arthur is commanding, with Arthur treating him as a master. Beneath that hierarchy is a deep mutual attachment formed through their experiences as Gravity Children.

Shalott's confidence is not entirely empty. His understanding of the Over Road and optical manipulation allows him to turn attacks back on enemies who initially believe they have the advantage.

Shalott is a second-generation Gravity Child and King-level practitioner of the Over Road. His high-heeled Air Trecks contain turbine mechanisms that support his pressure manipulation and mirror-based techniques.

Mirror Country uses retroreflection and optical phase conjugation to conceal Shalott within reflected images while Arthur draws an opponent's attention. Shalott can then attack from unexpected angles in a way that makes it appear that damage inflicted on Arthur is being reflected onto the attacker.

Mirrored Rumble Wall creates an array of mirror-like pressure surfaces capable of reflecting wind-based techniques while preserving their shape. The defense is powerful enough to redirect exceptionally strong Fang attacks.

He also carries a rapier-like whip as a secondary weapon.

Shalott appears aboard Genesis's aircraft carrier among the second-generation Gravity Children defending the organization's base. He and Arthur confront Agito Wanijima and Kaito Wanijima during the infiltration.

Their battle initially presents Shalott as Arthur's support fighter, but the mechanics behind their partnership reveal a much deeper dependence between them.

Shalott was originally considered capable of becoming a King himself. During the brutal selection process overseen by Nike, he was severely injured while trying to motivate Arthur. A desperate operation subsequently bound their survival together: Arthur's organs were transplanted into Shalott while the Rumble Subregalia was incorporated into Arthur.

Shalott sacrifices himself to protect Arthur from the explosion triggered during their battle with Lind and Kaito. His final apparition asks Agito to kill Nike, the person responsible for the suffering that shaped both men's lives.

Arthur is Shalott's closest companion and combat partner. After Shalott is gravely injured during their youth, Arthur gives his organs to him while receiving the Rumble Subregalia, leaving the two physically as well as emotionally dependent on one another.

Nike Takeuchi oversees the brutal selection process experienced by Shalott and the other Gravity Children. Shalott ultimately holds Nike responsible for their suffering and asks Agito to kill him.

Agito Wanijima is one of Shalott's opponents aboard the aircraft carrier. The emergence of Lind turns the battle decisively against Shalott and Arthur.

Kaito Wanijima joins the confrontation and helps expose weaknesses in the pair's combined techniques.

Minami Rinta performs the risky operation that preserves Shalott's life after Arthur volunteers his organs.
