Setsuna is clever but also eager to display the strength granted by Yomi's dark chakra. Like the rest of the Gang of Four, he tends to use unnecessarily powerful techniques because he enjoys the temporary amplification.

He can also use Puppet Technique and participates in multi-element combination attacks with his teammates. Dark chakra greatly increases his output, though exhausting the borrowed chakra leaves him vulnerable.
