Kusuna

Kusuna is calculating and functions as the tactical coordinator of the Gang of Four. He uses misdirection and coordinated attacks instead of relying entirely on brute strength.

He also displays confidence in his ability to manage the dark chakra enhancements that make his teammates dramatically more powerful.

Kusuna uses Dark Medicine and Strengthening Prescription: Chakra Injection to amplify his allies. He is specifically capable of handling the dark chakra snakes used as the source of their temporary enhancement.

His medical knowledge can also be applied offensively, and he carries a scalpel for close-range use.

Kusuna assists Yomi in the effort to kill Shion and restore Mōryō. He coordinates the Gang of Four's attacks against Naruto's escort team.

Neji deliberately allows the assassins to burn through their enhanced chakra, then attacks Kusuna with Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, shutting down the group's main source of reinforcement and defeating him.

Yomi is Kusuna's commander. Setsuna, Shizuku, and Gitai receive dark-chakra support from him.

Neji Hyūga identifies Kusuna as the key support member and targets him directly.
