Sayori

Sayori understands and performs the etiquette expected of a noble girl. In front of servants, she is restrained and authoritative, maintaining the social distance associated with her position.

Around trusted companions, she becomes cheerful and demonstrative. She embraces Rurichiyo upon their reunion and enthusiastically performs a private handshake that the two regard as proof of their friendship.

Sayori has no demonstrated combat abilities or spiritual techniques. She carries no Zanpakutō and is not identified as a Shinigami.

Her position grants her servants, a noble residence, and access to other aristocratic families, but the episode does not identify her house or its political standing.

Sayori invites Rurichiyo Kasumiōji to a tea party attended by girls from several noble families. After dismissing their servants, the friends abandon their formal behavior and greet one another warmly.

The gathering becomes the setting for another assassination attempt against Rurichiyo. Ichigo Kurosaki and Rurichiyo’s guards pursue a disguised attacker who has entered the estate.

Sayori is not directly involved in the ensuing battle. She survives the incident, and the anime supplies no later storyline or confirmed change to her position.

Rurichiyo Kasumiōji is Sayori’s close friend. Their private handshake and affectionate reunion suggest a friendship established well before the episode.

Ichigo Kurosaki, Ryūsei Kenzaki, and Rusaburō Enkōgawa are present as Rurichiyo’s protectors during the threat surrounding the tea party, though Sayori forms no personal bond with them onscreen.
