Satoshi Takada

Takada receives little characterization away from baseball. His continued participation after the older players leave nevertheless places him among the students willing to remain with Sentarou Maeno's marginalized prefab squad.

He functions as a supporting team player rather than an individual star, filling an important defensive position when Maeno needs to reconstruct the starting nine.

Takada plays second base and bats seventh in the rebuilt prefab lineup. His defensive position makes him part of Seishuu's middle infield and requires him to work closely with the shortstop on force plays and double-play situations.

No signature batting technique or exceptional individual skill is established. His value lies in filling a regular infield position reliably enough to compete against stronger opposition.

Takada moves into the starting lineup after Makihara, Tsuneki, Sekiguchi and Kayama leave the prefab squad. He participates in the rematch with Daimon's first string, when the future of both teams and their coaches is at stake.

The prefab team wins the rematch, after which its players form the foundation of the reunited Seishuu baseball club.

Takada later participates in Seishuu's first official tournament game against Ryuou before eventually graduating.

Sentarou Maeno coaches Takada on the prefab squad and gives him a starting role after the roster changes.

Kou Kitamura, Osamu Akaishi, Daiki Nakanishi, Wataru Morinaka and Tetsu Iwai are among Takada's teammates during the prefab period.

Shuugo Daimon coaches the opposing first-string squad in the rematch that determines the future of Seishuu's divided baseball club.
