Satoshi Moriguchi

Satoshi is adventurous, independent, and curious. He has a habit of visiting places connected to his past, a trait that becomes important when his friends try to determine where he could have gone.

He is close enough with Mayumi, Mikihiko, and Kenta that the three children immediately become concerned when he vanishes and actively seek help rather than waiting passively for adults to solve the problem.

Satoshi is an ordinary seven-year-old child without supernatural or combat abilities.

His familiarity with his neighborhood and the places important to him becomes the most useful information in tracing his movements.

Satoshi's disappearance is the central mystery of Conan, Heiji, and the Vanished Boy. His friends approach Heiji for help while Conan, Ran, and Kazuha are visiting Osaka.

The investigation requires Conan and Heiji to reconstruct Satoshi's movements and understand clues associated with places the boy knows.

Satoshi has returned to an old residence and unexpectedly encounters bank robbers Tsuyoshi Maejima and Kaoru Komiya. Because he sees them, the pair hold him captive at their hideout.

Conan and Heiji eventually locate Satoshi and rescue him while the criminals are apprehended.

Yousuke Moriguchi is Satoshi's father, while Yoshiko Moriguchi is his mother.

Mayumi Esaka, Mikihiko Yagi, and Kenta Oosawa are Satoshi's friends and seek help after he disappears.

Heiji Hattori and Conan Edogawa investigate Satoshi's disappearance and eventually locate the place where he is being held.

Tsuyoshi Maejima and Kaoru Komiya hold Satoshi captive after he sees them at their hideout.
