Rishou

Rishou is calculating, ruthless and willing to exploit tournament rules to obtain victory. Unlike several members of his team, he places little importance on the honor traditionally associated with their shinobi background.

He views teammates primarily in terms of their usefulness to the group's objective. When Touya objects to the dishonest circumstances surrounding Team Masho's matches, Rishou responds aggressively rather than reconsidering his actions.

His confidence becomes arrogance when facing opponents he considers weakened. This is particularly evident against Kuwabara, whose injuries convince Rishou that the final match will be easy.

Rishou manipulates earth and stone through demonic energy. His signature Armor of Clay surrounds his body with a thick layer of hardened earth, simultaneously improving his defense and increasing the weight behind his attacks.

He can concentrate the armor around individual limbs rather than covering his entire body. The technique lets him deliver extremely heavy punches while retaining greater mobility.

In the anime, he can strengthen his armor further and launch himself through the air in a powerful tackle known as the Meteor Attack.

Rishou leads Team Masho during its match with Team Urameshi. He largely remains outside the ring while his teammates fight, approving of the tournament administration's manipulation when it benefits his team.

When Touya condemns the dishonest ruling surrounding Yusuke's match with Jin, Rishou dismisses his objections and physically strikes his injured teammate.

Rishou ultimately faces the already badly injured Kazuma Kuwabara. He initially dominates their match with his superior physical condition and earth armor.

The arrival of Yukina revitalizes Kuwabara's determination and spiritual energy. Kuwabara overwhelms Rishou despite his injuries, securing Team Urameshi's victory and eliminating Team Masho from the tournament.

Touya is Rishou's subordinate in Team Masho but strongly disagrees with his willingness to cheat. Rishou responds violently when Touya challenges his leadership.

Jin is another of Rishou's powerful teammates, though his honorable approach to fighting contrasts with Rishou's methods.

Gama fights for Team Masho and sacrifices himself while attempting to weaken Kurama for the team's later fighters.

Bakken is Rishou's teammate and shares more of his willingness to exploit vulnerable opponents.

Kazuma Kuwabara becomes Rishou's final Dark Tournament opponent. Despite being badly injured, Kuwabara defeats him after Yukina's appearance renews his strength.

Yukina indirectly causes the decisive change in Rishou's match by inspiring Kuwabara.
