Rebecca

Rebecca is energetic, confrontational and extremely trigger-happy. She rarely hides irritation or excitement, and her tendency to escalate situations with gunfire makes her one of the crew's least restrained members.

Underneath that volatility, she is exceptionally loyal. Rebecca takes friendship seriously and remains beside people even when she believes they are making dangerous choices. She can be surprisingly perceptive about emotional problems despite expressing herself in a blunt and often abrasive way.

Her feelings toward David grow stronger as they spend more time together. Rebecca recognizes that David loves Lucy and does not try to force him to choose differently, remaining his friend and combat partner even though her own feelings are unrequited.

Rebecca is a Solo specializing in firearms. She uses pistols, shotguns and heavier weapons with an aggressive style built around overwhelming enemies before they can control the engagement.

Her weapons include the customized Carnage shotgun Guts, a weapon powerful enough that its recoil would be difficult for an ordinary shooter to manage. She also uses multiple handguns and other firearms depending on the job.

Rebecca later upgrades her cyberware, including enlarged cybernetic hands that improve her ability to handle heavy weaponry. She remains highly mobile despite carrying guns disproportionate to her body size.

Rebecca enters the story as one of Maine's established mercenaries and Pilar's younger sister. She participates in the crew's jobs as a combat specialist and gradually accepts David as one of their own.

After Maine's crew collapses, Rebecca joins the new team led by David. She becomes increasingly concerned as his heavy cyberware use begins producing symptoms similar to those that preceded Maine's cyberpsychosis.

Rebecca accompanies David, Falco and the others during the final attempt to rescue Lucy from Faraday. She remains beside David even as his condition deteriorates. During the assault on Arasaka Tower, Adam Smasher drops directly onto Rebecca and kills her before confronting David.

Pilar is Rebecca's older brother. The siblings constantly argue and insult one another but work together as edgerunners.

David Martinez becomes one of Rebecca's closest companions. She develops romantic feelings for him but accepts that he is devoted to Lucy and continues supporting him anyway.

Lucy is Rebecca's teammate and David's romantic partner.

Maine leads the crew Rebecca initially works for.

Dorio and Kiwi are fellow members of Maine's team.

Falco fights alongside Rebecca during the crew's final operation.
